INDEPENDENT LIVING

At ISL communities, active senior living means just that - as active as you want.  Appointed for an easy, carefree lifestyle, our retirement living communities offer resort-like amenities with all the comforts of home.  You will enjoy freshly prepared meals in the dining room, laundry service, transportation, 24-hour on-site staffing and great social events. Apartments are appointed with easy living amenities, but you bring your own belongings and furnishings to make it truly your own.  Residents who enjoy group activities gather in the community common areas for events, activities and relaxation.  The social calendar includes a variety of planned outings, cultural events, educational programs and interest groups.  Neighbors are active, independent and carefree.  You have the freedom cook for yourself or dine in the restaurant-style dining room, entertain in your apartment or join in the community activities.  You are free to choose the life you deserve.

ASSISTED LIVING

Assisted Living is a combination of housing, services, personalized assistance and care tailored to the individual needs of those who require help with activities of daily living. Supportive services are available to meet scheduled and unscheduled needs in a way that promotes maximum dignity and independence of each resident and involves the resident's family and friends.  ISL assisted living communities provide support with activities of daily living such as bathing, grooming, dressing and escorting. Our residents can expect a balance of independence and the right level of care and services in a supportive environment. Residents enjoy an array of basic services and amenities that may be enhanced with assisted living care options designed to meet each person's needs.

ALZHEIMER'S/DEMENTIA CARE

The Generations program is designed especially for residents with memory loss and other forms of dementia.  At our communities that provide Alzheimer's/dementia care, residents have good days to enjoy with loved ones in a comforting environment designed for their needs.  Secured space creates a warm and calming place filled with familiar sights, sounds and aromas of days gone by.  The Generations program provides socialization, activity-sensitive programming and specially trained staff as well as education and counseling support for family members.

RESPITE CARE

All the comforts of home with caring professionals are provided to short-term, respite care
residents for a few days or weeks.  It's a home away from home, while you need it.  A respite
stay at an ISL community offers flexibility to seniors and their caring loved ones. Respite stays
include private, furnished apartment accommodations, prepared meals, housekeeping and linen
service, scheduled transportation and activities program on a daily rate basis.  Individualized
care, including assistance with activities of daily living, is provided as needed.

VETERANS ASSISTANCE PROGRAM FOR ASSISTED LIVING

Veterans and surviving spouses may qualify for VA pension benefits specifically designed for assisted living care.  ISL community management teams are specially trained to help Veterans and surviving spouses determine if they qualify for the VA program that pays Veterans up to $1,470 per month and surviving spouses up to $945 per month.  More information about Veterans Assistance Program for assisted living may be obtained from your local ISL community Executive Director.
